I smoke....I know smoking fucks up the healing process of the skin when you are going all medical on it....

But apart from that I don't think it affects sp....I just quit though haha so time will tell but don't get your hopes up too high....

I don't smoke and if someone near me lights up a cigarette I walk away.

Just quit for the second time this year, haven't noticed any difference.

I have recently been doing some indepth study of the human anatomy and I have found that cholesterol is an important factor in creating steroid's and sebum for the body to use. Now I have a fairly good diet but we all know that cholesterol is an issue because it is difficult to get rid of once the levels are elevated, the body produces it itself so you're already eating to much if you have just a couple of things per week with elevated cholesterol in them and its bad for your circulation and exists in the blood, which runs through the penis on an elevated level at times close to the skin which is thinner than normal so its more permiable and exposed to both external and internal interactions of unwanted stuff (Herpes anyone?).

I'm going to try and change my diet anyway, if it does nothing for the SP I know I have done at least something benificial fo my body haha

I am vegan so my cholesterol probably isn't high. I still have very prominent fordyce spots.

Just a theory of mine, your liver produces cholesterol naturally so maybe they are elelvated within the circulation? that or some people have different reactions to different amounts of cholesterol in the body. The body is such a complex organism it would be arrogant for me to claim to understand it, again this is just a theory of mine based on studies I have done for me degree.

oneday someone will come along and fix this, probably someone who is driven insane by this disorder who also is an intellectual academic in the research field (it could happen) and spends their life purely trying to solve this issue (whilst of course doing other kinds of sponsored clinical research to afford his own) many things have been discovered through private endeavours in research. just a matter of time... 'spankthemonkey turns off his laptop then enters the foetal position and rocks himself to unconciousness'.

My cholesterol wasn't high last time I got it checked and my triglycerides was close to perfect. I will get another blood test one of the coming months.

Just think about it, come up with a working formula against Sebaceous Prominence, sell it for a very decent price of like 5 euro for the whole treatment. U don't have to worry about money any more. Or simply sell the formula; you are a millionaire. Win-win situation, everybody is happy. Except for the scammers. silent

While this sounds good, it is likely that the cure will come from a combination of things that already exist. So you could sell a "kit" I suppose, but most people would likely just go out and buy the supplements.
