Hot Water and Toothpaste then Acne Treatment
I read on another SP forum someone got rid of their SP by having hot showers/baths and rubbing some toothpaste on their effected areas. The toothpaste is meant to dry up the secum and promote new skin growth by drying up and pealing away the old skin. I thought I might as well give it a shot considering how simple and inexpensive it is.
For the past couple of nights at the end of my shower I turn up the hot water a little, but not so much to burn myself, but just hot enough to help open the pours. After I dry myself, I dab some toothpaste on my effected area on my shaft. I decided to only apply it to the left side first (the worst side), so I could try and compare any differences, as well as to minimise any pain in case the toothpaste reacted badly to my sensitive area on my shaft. Luckily for me, I only applied it to one side, because it kind of felt like burning/tingling sensation. It wasn't too intense, but it sure isn't comfortable and applying it on both sides would have probably been twice has painful.
The toothpaste is definitely doing something, because for better or worse the skin is changing and getting a little dry and discoloured. This is normal according to the poster in the other SP forum. After a week the skin will start to peal (ewww... what an image lol) and new skin will form. After this happens he advises to use some kind of acne/blackhead treatment.
I'll keep everyone posted on my progress...

Re: Hot Water and Toothpaste then Acne Treatment
i actually tried this treatment a few years ago. on the left side of my shaft. after a few weeks of doing it one night i was in the jacussi at the gym and then got into the shower and the skin completeley peeled it off. it looked so strange. the skin on the left side was bright pink/white. you could see the sp but they looked really close to the surface. they wer so flat that if you ran your finger down the side of your shaft you couldn't feel them at all.. but then i stopped because i was scared and quite young, but it did all go back to normal in the end.

Thanks for sharing mate.
I'm going to stop applying the toothpaste today because it looks like the skin is about to peel away.
Here's hoping for some good results.

It's been over a month since I let the skin peal away and heal itself. The initial results looked pretty promising and my SP didn't look as noticeable and my skin felt a lot smoother. This didn't last too long because as the weeks went by I could see the bastards coming back, but the good news I wasn't scared and my SP hasn't gotten any worse. I wouldn't recommend trying it, because it can be painful and very uncomfortable.

I tried toothpaste a few times last year (when I first started trying things on my SP) and it does nothing but alter the appearance of the SP by making the skin leathery and dry.
