Another Possibility- this looks LEGIT
http://www.musaffeen.com/site/howi-tworks.html
Has anyone heard of this?
Late this sounds promising and I have read company reviews outside of their website and customers are saying the HERBAL ACCUTANE. Should I give this a go. Yes expensive 40 days=240tabs=100bones. However from what I have been reading I am impressed.
What do you all think?

Ha, I knew someone would find mustafeen before I had a chance to post about it! Good find, I came across it about a week ago, and wanted to do research on the herbs in it before I brought it up on the forum. In any case, Im happy someone else came across it too, because its not exactly the most popular site on the net.
Anyway, Im not a huge fan of their claims, as theyre absolutely ridiculous (claiming it works 2-6 times faster than accutane? Thats a bit of a stretch), but aside from that it looks legit. Ayurvedic medicine is one of the most popular kinds of herbal treatment, so theres a lot to be said about that. Whether or not something like this can work that well, I dont know, which is why I wanted to research it a bit more, but its worth a shot. Maybe find the herb or herb combinations responsible for shrinking the gland, and taking those by themselves.
The only issue I see with it is that its fucking expensive, and Id want to use it for at least 90 days before I made any conclusions on it. If someone has money to burn, this route would be much much safer than trying vilantae.

Re: Another Possibility- this looks LEGIT
Looking at the ingredient list, it appears to be a bunch of homeopathic nonsense to me. I'd be really surprised if that stuff did anything at all, despite what the Pakistani trial claims. If their claims were true, you'd think every pharmacy in the world would be carrying it, or some company like Pfizer would have bought them out. At minimum, we'd have a continuous stream of late night infomercials about it.
Furthermore, the address on the website is just a suite in England ... where is it manufactured and by whom? The website says: "(c) Musaffeen Inc. 1999-2002". So this stuff has been around for 11 years? They don't seem to offer any other products. Why does a place in England sell a product in U.S. dollars? I did a whois on the domain and the administrative contact is in Lahore, Pakistan. All sounds kind of shady to me.
P.S. The link on the right side of their site that says "Download Acne Treatment Handbook Free" is a link to a .zip file with an .exe file inside (not an .html page or .pdf file). I wouldn't suggest executing it. Pretty fishy way to offer any kind of book or document.

Dubsack, you may have FOUND it. I think im ordering some.It does say its not permanent though but we will be able to find a way to change the way the glands are acting. Homeopathic medicines have worked WONDERS on my blackheads, no doubt it cannot do the same for SP.
Late_thought, this is nothing personal man, but you tend to discredit everyone's finds. They work just as hard as you man, they research just the same.

Re: Another Possibility- this looks LEGIT
Im not discrediting this one in the least, Im behind it fully. Im not going to call something Ive just learned about recently the definitive end all sp treatment based on absolutely nothing, though. What theyre selling as a bunch of Ayurvedic herbs in no particular formula, and saying that it will reduce sebaceous output, and that they have no idea how it works, it just does. I found out about musaffeen about a week ago, and Ive spent some time trying to find out which herbs in the formula do what so that we can save money only using what we could actually benefit from. They have a single study with less than 100 total participants showing it reduces acne, but then again, I can show you tons of pubmed published studies that would say the exact same thing, including dirt cheap vitamin d (something I brought up a while back, and no one seemed too interested in it, probably because everyone was on the antibiotic boat that went nowhere). This is really my only problems with this product, theyre making outlandish claims based on a single small study, theyre using equal amounts of several Ayurvedic herbs while admitting they have no idea how it works, and its monsterously expensive. The fact that people are so eager to call every new things a "cure" is why I didnt bring musaffeen before, as Im not in the business of making wild claims that could end up wasting people a ton of money because it didnt end up working. The only time I will ever come here and post an "I think Ive found it" thread is when my johnson is nice and smooth and not a second before, no matter how promising it seems.
Also, for the record, I can only think of a few actual "finds" that have been posted here. This one being a new one, and the one concerning the witch hazel and TTO mix, both of which Ive supported. Every other "find" that Ive discredited that comes to mind Ive discredited because people on sp forums already "found" them, and they didnt work. Jojoba oil, peels, retin-a, benzoyl peroxide, anti fungals, antibiotics, corticosteroids, acne washes, these are all things that people have shown to not work over and over and over again in the past. I dont expect everyone to go back and read the old forum, and the old old forum to keep up to date on what works and what doesnt, but Im more than happy to share the knowledge from the old forums so that people here dont waste their time trying things that people have already tried to death with no results. If I come off as overly critical, its because Ive been around sp forums for 3 years now and we're still in the same place we were then.

Re: Another Possibility- this looks LEGIT
I would love someone to give it a go. Im going to wait for my URO appointment before ordering although i almost clicked ordered last night but wanted more on the herbs and the company just as Late is saying. And your not overcritical your saving us money and you without a doubt know the most about this stuff. Ive spent money on Zinc and a few other shit you have said probably not gonna work and you were right. So I think before anyone puts money into this we SHOULD do some research on the herbs and the company, see if we can contact them and what not. Because if it is allll legit I would bet this would work in a 40-90 experiment.. but its like the website says you can not miss 1 day of taking the tabs.
Also a reason to find more on the company is because im starting to think the stuff Bruce got from bohemia who even knows if it is even pure snail serum considering the customer service blows and all it could just be a slimy gel and their whole operation is a scam... and musafeen could be the same way
I have read a few reviews. A couple saying its scam BUT none of these people ordered it or posted any reasons as to why so it could just be rivals or pessimistic people. I have also read a couple that say it definently works but it takes more time than the website says. I believe you consume like 3-6 tabs a day to

Sorry if I seemed sharp late_thought, I know your best interests are in this community.
Ive been researching the individual herbs used and they look legit. Its so expensive though I wonder if theres a way to get a hold of these herbs on an individuate basis. Many of these herbs treat symptoms I have.

dirtridr dude what herbs have you used to treat your blackheads?? I use DUAC for my acne and it works perfectly but blackheads are still a problem.
Also late_thought dude, your a ledgend, doing a lot for the community.... i know this, you know this, cats know this.... enough said.
I will do some research on it and see what I can find.
I personalyl believe that the cure for SP is reducing the output of the glands.... simple as............ either that or something that can make the body break down/absorb sebum quicker

Re: Another Possibility- this looks LEGIT
I thought I would make a post that listed what the different ingredients actually where. Now this is open to change, as I may have been reading on the wrong herb or got it mixed up. Also the website might not have listed all it's uses. Please keep in mind that:
- this is very brief
- the herbs on their own might not do much, but when mixed with others cause the desired effect
**Swertia Chirata, Hum
Uses : According to Ayurveda, this herb is a bitter tonic, stomachic. It is useful in liver disorders, eyes, heart. A strongly bitter tonic it is an excellent remedy for a weak stomach, especially when this gives rise to nausea, indigestion and bloating and it has also been shown to protect the liver.
The whole plant is an excellent drug for intermittent fevers, skin diseases intestinal worms, bronchial asthma, burning of the body, regulating the bowels. The root of the plant is useful in checking hiccups and vomiting. It is used in the liquor industry as a bitter ingredient.
**FumariaOfficinalis
It was traditionally thought to be good for the eyes, and to remove skin blemishes. In modern times herbalists use it to treat skin diseases, and conjunctivitis; as well as to cleanse the kidneys.
Fumitory has been highly valued since at least Roman times for its tonic and blood cleansing effect upon the body[244]. It is particularly valuable in the treatment of all visceral obstructions, particularly those of the liver, in scorbutic affections and in troublesome eruptive diseases of the skin, especially eczema

It is also used internally in gout; it relieves the blocked phlegm in bronchial asthma, cough and eases the problem.
**Artemisia Vulgaris

Based on your findings on the herbs.... they all look legit so if this company is legit then this product seems to look like it will work and is worth it. Look if my SP goes away for a downpayment of 129 bucks which is the option id get. and then from there on after if they go away as claimed and then you shorten dose it would be like around maybe less than 20 bucks a month less than a buck a day

My maths is fairly bad, but if 360 tablets covers 60 days dosage, how is 480 tablets 120 days?
Is anyone trying this?
Edit: Lowering the dosage I imagine, to answer my own question..

Re: Another Possibility- this looks LEGIT
Awesome research, hoho. Pretty much everything on these herbs that I can find is relatively generic, and I cant find anything on any one of these herbs effecting sebaceous activity on their own. The thing about researching herbs like this is that most outlets cant really get too specific about what the herbs are capable of, as they could potentially get in trouble for it. In any case, youre spot on when you say that its more about the combined effects than it is about individual effects.
This is my issue with it, all the herbs in the formula are put in in equal amounts, and this shows spot on that they have no idea what the synergistic effects between these herbs are, nor is there any word on whether any studies were ever done on varying combinations with varying amounts of individual herbs, so really what theyre saying is that they threw a bunch of herbs together without any idea about how well they work in combination at differing amounts or exactly which herb combinations therein actually work against the sebaceous gland, and they ended up finding the cure for acne on the first try. Anyone who has ever done any kind of formulating knows that putting so many herbs together without any concern for ratios and synergy information is wildly amateur, considering theres no way so many herbs in the exact same amounts can work in synergy. All Im saying with this is that if it works, its likely because of a scant few herbs in the formula, and the rest is just a reason to inflate the price. Cant blame them for wanting to make money, but if you were to get all these herbs and make it yourself, you could probably make a years supply for cheaper than they want for 2 months worth.
None of this has to do with whether or it works or not, just about how badly we would be getting ripped off in the process. If someone is going to try this, gotta make sure you go balls out and do at least 2 full months on top dose, even if they go away after only 1 month. Remember, even accutane, a drug meant to get permanent results, cant weaken the sebaceous glands enough to permanently dissipate sp, and this is because sp does not need an overactive gland to appear, just a normal gland in the wrong spot. If it does work after 2 months, then it becomes a matter of finding out how little it would take to maintain the results, and once thats established it becomes a matter of formulating it for ourselves so that we can sustain dosage without becoming homeless. Remember, they say you can reduce the dose to keep the acne at bay, but that doesnt mean that sp will stay gone on a lower dose, and eventually its going to get expensive.
Basically, what Im saying is that if it does work, we should be able to replicate the formula for ourselves for a fraction of the cost without too much trouble. In case anyone wants to try this, but is deciding not to because they know they cant afford to take it for very long, replicating these kinds of things on the cheap is not as hard as the manufacturers of these products would have you believe. The makers of Vilantae, who come off as fully legit with tons of information, studies, and a good reputation, dont want you to know that instead of megadosing their overpriced vit b5 for the rest of your life to make your body create coenzyme-a, you can just take coenzyme-a supplements for a fraction of what they charge, and without compromising your health by fucking up your bodies ability to retain all the other b vitamins. No matter how legit these outlets come off, theyre businesses, and their prime objective is to transform our money into their money.
